Fully Remote Remote Worker - N/A Description **Summary**

The Technology Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, help desk coverage, and tier 1 systems administration in an enterprise environment, which includes Linux, OS X, Windows and mobile computing platforms (iOS and Android). Individual responsible for delivering excellent service to users, working at the direction of the IT Director and quickly learning / implementing new technology solutions.

**Essential Functions**

* Assists employees resolve a variety of technology related challenges

* Builds and manages desktop, laptop, and mobile solutions for internal staff

* Installs and manages software products such as anti-virus applications, productivity suites, mobile device management, and job specific software tools

* Trains new employees in the proper use of corporate technology resources

* Writes new and updates existing technical documentation

* Manages all helpdesk tickets and communication with internal customers

* Manages inventory of all CSD team member IT equipment

* Manages shipping logistics of all CSD team member IT equipment

* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

* Experience with Windows 7, 10 and Mac OSX

* Android and iOS mobile application management

* Desktop and laptop computer configuration and troubleshooting

* Cloud based tools such as Office365 and Azure

* Exposure to IP-based communications infrastructure (VoIP, video, text)

* Ability to fully engage within a collaborative, innovative, and team focused environment

* Strong sense of ownership, innovation, and drive

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience

* 3+ years of experience in a corporate IT position

* Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language

**Work Environment / Physical Requirements**

This position is moderately self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in a virtual office environment utilizing a computer and standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The position may require travel up to 5%.
