Regional Sales Director - Southern California We currently have a position open in the Southern California Market for a Regional Sales Director (RSD). The RSD for Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions increases new business sales through establishing strong, consultative partnerships with major worksite and voluntary benefit distributors including brokers, agents, financial planners, consultants, and employees within Trustmark. Customers typically include hospitals, medical centers, manufacturing, public entities, services, warehousing, and wholesale trade who want to offer their stable workforce a comprehensive benefit solution. Key Responsibilities: Increase new business sales through establishing strong partnerships. Learn and stay informed on healthcare trends, market intelligence, and product information. Manage target account lists and pipeline management. Conduct marketing programs, educational seminars, and customer needs analysis meetings. Manage both external and internal stakeholders throughout the sales process. Key Accountabilities: Achieve annual new business sales and net growth objectives. Demonstrate the value proposition to distribution partners. Direct and manage the acquisition process with the sales support team. Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling. Monitor and report on competition to evaluate Trustmark’s position in the marketplace. Minimum Requirements: 5 years of Voluntary product sales or equivalent work experience. Experience generating and analyzing reports to enhance sales or customer experience. Excellent oral & written communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle conflict with minimal oversight. Exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
