**SMILE ISLAND PEDIATRIC AND ADULT DENTISTRY** is seeking a team member for the following position:
**Position**: Dental Front Office Coordinator

**Schedule**: Full-time/ Monday - Thursday 8a.m. - 5p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30p.m. (shift may vary slightly for opening and closing purposes).

Smile Island is a leading private practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental and orthodontic care to children, adolescents, and adults. - 2+ years of experience in a dental practice working with insurance
- Great customer service skills and a passion for working with people
- Understanding of clinical procedures and CDT
- Proficiency in dental insurance plans required
- Experience presenting treatment plans and financial arrangements
- Knowledge and experience with electronic claims submission
- Experience executing preauthorizations and posting payments
- Fun, kind, positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Ambition to grow into leadership role

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of sitting, leaning and bending
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Dexterity to handle office equipment
- Ability to accurately communicate and perceive information and ideas over phone and in person
- Ability to observe details at a close range
- Compensation: $22-$28/hr depending on experience_
