Our Headquarter is located in Cerritos/Norwalk, CA, and we have 6 Distribution Centers strategically located throughout the continental U.S. servicing various retail channels across the U.S. and South/Central America.
MW Polar is currently looking for a Sales Analyst to join our team and provide assistance in proper order handling for many of our key customers, including Walmart, Costco, Rite Aid, Ralphs, Smart & Final, SuperValu, Big Lots, Meijer, HEB and many more. Prior experience as a sales analyst or sales support servicing the Wholesale/Retail business highly preferred.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Receive and process purchase orders from customers, confirm inventory/pricing, release to warehouses and arrange logistic carriers to ensure on time delivery.
- Study customer’s routing guidelines to ensure proper SOP is in place to service each customer according to the guidelines. Prevent penalty chargebacks due to improper account handling.
- Monitor inventory for assigned distribution centers and arrange transfers from other locations as needed to prevent a shortage of customer orders.
- Quote and negotiate prices with third party logistic carriers on delivery orders and transfers. Control cost to improve the profit margin. Reconcile trucking invoices.
- Monitor & analyze sales performance for assigned accounts/regions. Analyze customer’s sales & forecast information from the customer’s vendor portal. Coordinate with the sales/purchasing/inventory team on new items, promotions, discontinuation, and any changes in sales pattern.
- Support sales team/account managers on meeting preparation and other paperwork processing.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Experience in servicing wholesale/retail customers highly preferred.
- Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong follow-up and time management skills with great attention to details
- Excellent computer skill is a must, with a very strong command of Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot table, etc).
- This position requires an individual who is self-directed and detail-oriented with an inquisitive nature and the desire to solve problems
- A strong work ethic with a positive "can-do" attitude and one who takes pride in the quality of their work
- Excellent interpersonal skills
