Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst will perform comprehensive financial evaluations of operational activities, capital investments, cash flows, and potential business acquisitions. This role involves supporting the coordination, administration, and enhancement of financial and operational budgets and forecasts. The analyst will be responsible for conducting business and financial assessments on moderately to highly complex development and acquisition projects, analyzing historical and current financial data to project future revenues, expenditures, and cash flows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial and business research and analysis, including the creation of presentations, reports, graphs, and charts.
  • Review and analyze financial and business-related data focusing on performance metrics, working capital, and investment opportunities.
  • Assist in the formulation of the annual budget for both the corporate entity and the consolidated organization.
  • Contribute to the financial components of business plans, evaluations, and forecasts.
  • Provide detailed analysis of operational performance across the consolidated entity and its individual segments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Prepare financial statement account analyses and reconciliations as necessary.
  • Support the evaluation of potential acquisitions by gathering and analyzing business and financial information, assessing historical performance, and developing projections based on industry trends.
  • Analyze operational results to identify significant events or deviations and their potential impact on future operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate financial and operational implications of data and communicate insights related to business processes and profitability.
  • Support special projects and reports as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required; an MBA or MSA is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to independently assess financial data.
  • Proven capability to distill and present financial information effectively.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team and possessing strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

EMCOR Government Services offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability, a 401(k) Savings Plan, and an employee assistance program.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $115,000

Other Compensation: This position is bonus eligible.
