**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Law Firm Controller/Billing Specialist. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, billing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership to drive financial strategy and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and payroll
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard firm assets and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for firm leadership
- Oversee trust accounting and compliance with client trust regulations
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage the billing process, including invoicing clients, tracking billable hours, and resolving billing discrepancies
- Stay current on industry trends and regulations affecting law firm finances
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to support strategic decision-making

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
- Experience in financial management, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tabs, QuickBooks, Elite) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
