Under the direction of CFO and the Business Office Assistant Director, act as Fund Manager for the School of Theater, Film and Television. Responsible for supporting Faculty and Principal Investigators by managing a portfolio of Departmental, Intramural, and Extramural Funds. Assist in post-award activities, ledger reconciliation, the generation of financial reports, fund close-out process, progress reports, financial reports, technical reports to ensure compliance with agency and University policies and procedures. Assist in processing of payments for faculty funds using appropriate campus systems. Exercise discretion, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills in carrying out responsibilities. Act as a resource to assist CFO, assistant dean, chairs, faculty, and staff.**Salary & Compensation**

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. **Qualifications**
- Demonstrated experience with accounting principles, experience in contract and grant administration and financial management, and converying information to staff or faculty. (required)
- Knowledge of UCLA contract and grant policies, proposal submission procedures, and sponsoring agency policies and procedures sufficientn to assist all research administration activities from proposal development through close-out of contract and grant awards. (preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic bookkeeping/accounting functions suffcient to prepare financial budgets and projections for yearly and multi-year budgets. (required)
- Demonstrated knowledge of UCLA specfic extramural funding policies as applicable to grants, contracts, sub-contracts, and gifts and endowments. (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience using UC on-line systems for accounting, personnel, purchasing, travel, and equipment management. (preferred)
- Knowledge of University payroll and personnel systems, policies and procedures. (preferred)
- Working knowledge of UC purchasing and equipment policies and procedures and campus Purchasing systems. (preferred)
- Skill in using various campus software to generate financial reports (on-line financial system, QDB, etc.), as well as tracking contracts, grants, gifts and various types of funds. Demonstrated skills on working on a PC programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. (preferred)
- Ability to follow through assignments with limited supervision and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines, accomplish goals. (required)
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others. Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, faculty, supervisors, and outside organizations. (required)
- Ability to provide excellent customer service - to anticipate potential problems and take preventative action. (required)
- Oral and writen communication skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively. (required)

**Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations**
- Bachelor's Degree Degree in accounting, management, or a related field, plus two years of experience in contract and grant administration and financial management, or a combination of equivalent education/experience. (required)
