Eleven Recruiting is searching for a Fund Accounting Manager for one of our largest Investment clients sitting onsite in Brentwood CA. As the Manager for Closed-End Fund Accounting at Power Opportunities, you'll be in charge of maintaining financial records for various private partnerships and accounts, while also keeping clients and the portfolio group informed. This role is a hybrid role - three days onsite.

Your duties will include:

  • Keeping accurate financial records for private investment funds and separate accounts.
  • Handling cash, investment, and real property accounting and reconciliation.
  • Recording purchase and sale transactions accurately.
  • Managing complex corporate actions.
  • Estimating and recording monthly closing accruals.
  • Allocating income and expenses to partners and updating distribution waterfall.
  • Preparing distributions and draw-downs.
  • Generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients.
  • Analyzing performance metrics for partnerships and investments.
  • Coordinating with auditors, custodians, and fund administrators.
  • Performing additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant accounting or audit experience, preferably in Big Four public accounting or a mix of public accounting and investment management.
  • Strong reconciliation and account analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in applying investment company accounting rules.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SQL and Power BI is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA qualification is advantageous.
