Veterinary Assistant

HousePaws Austin is looking for an exceptional part-time veterinary assistant to work 20 - 30 hours a week. We are a busy house call practice in the Austin area seeing our exceptional clients and their pets. We strive to provide the best possible service to our clients and patients, so excellent customer service skills are a must. General location knowledge of the Austin area is needed to appropriately schedule appointments. Because we see many fearful and stressed cats, you must be comfortable and have experience with keeping stressed cats calm. We start and end in Elgin/Manor each day, but travel throughout the Austin area for appointments. Send us your resume, so we can set up a time to meet you.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Veterinary experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Veterinary assistant: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: Multiple locations
