As valued members of our veterinary medical team, our skilled veterinary technicians are responsible for a wide variety of tasks including (but not limited to):

- placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and running bloodwork
- handling and restraining animals
- filling and preparing prescriptions
- assisting with surgery prep and anesthesia monitoring
- administering subQ fluids and IM injections
- performing “in-house” laboratory tests
- positioning, taking, and developing radiographs

- Since our Dundee location is a 24-hour emergency hospital, we are open 24/7, 365 days a year, including holidays. All staff are required to work 2-3 holiday shifts per year (holidays include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day).
