Duties

As a Administrative Officer at the GS-0341-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Principal advisor to the U.S. Marshal and the Chief Deputy for all financial and administrative policies and procedures.
Ensures all operational and administrative district office expenditures are within budget and comply with published applicable Federal Accounting practices, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and USMS policy directives.
Responsible for annual audits.
Reviews and updates local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and procedures in support of administrative functions as necessary.
Approves and monitors procurement of operational and administrative supplies and contracts.
Plans the work to be accomplished by subordinates, establishes priorities, assigns work, evaluates work performance, provides advice, counsel, and guidance to subordinates.

**Qualifications**:
**GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS**: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
