**Starting Annual Salary**: $86,112

The Practice Manager is responsible for the efficient, effective, and safe management of a designated NATIVE HEALTH clinical site(s) and its finances. The manager provides overall administrative direction and coordination of clinic service activities and programs including assurance that medical equipment and physical properties are maintained and in good operational condition. The Practice Manager will represent the company professionally and positively to enhance and promote the core values and mission of NATIVE HEALTH, always exercising utmost discretion, diplomacy, and tact in customer interactions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Leads and manages staff through mentoring, coaching, and supervision ensuring staff engagement to meet organizational and clinic site(s) goals and objectives.
- Provides fiscal oversight for the assigned clinic site(s) to meet financial goals.
- Directs and coordinates clinical operations to achieve maximum expense control, high quality services, excellent customer service and productivity of staff and providers.
- Regularly monitors, analyzes, and provides data and input for monthly operations report and grant reporting on the status of NATIVE HEALTH’s assigned clinic site(s).
- Provides education, analysis, and administrative information in assisting NATIVE HEALTH in policy development, decision making, and priority setting for the practice site(s).
- Leads staff in the integration of clinical services of division wide initiatives.
- Supports the organization as needed.

**Qualifications** QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Three years of supervisory/management experience required. 1.5 years must be in Healthcare, Social Services or Primary Care/Family Medicine setting.
- Two years of experience with operational or fiscal oversight of government programs, contracts and/or grants required.
- Three years of operational experience in a customer/patient driven environment preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
- Experience in NextGen preferred.

**Standard Employment Requirements**
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if applicant is from out-of-state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years. No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years. Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license during employment. Must be insurable under NATIVE HEALTH’s liability auto policy.
- Must pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within the initial ninety (90) calendar days of employment and retain a valid card while employed with NATIVE HEALTH.
- Must pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing during employment.
- Must provide an updated immunization (IZ) record at the time of employment.
- Must have a current (within 12 months) Tuberculosis (TB) skin report upon employment and provide an annual update.
- Must obtain a First Aid/CPR Card within (90) calendar days of employment and maintain a valid CPR Card during employment.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:

- Ability to provide a positive team-oriented environment.
- Customer service oriented. Ability to handle difficult situations.
- Proficient knowledge of eligibility requirements for sliding fee, AHCCCS, CMDP, MN/MI, KidsCare, SOBRA and Private insurance programs.
- Proficient knowledge of multilevel funding, including Federal, Tribal, State, third
- party insurance, and grants.
- Excellent financial management and reporting skills focusing on cost containment, reimbursement, and collection practices.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with medical staff, representatives of other agencies, clients, and the general public.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Culturally competent; able to work with a diverse workforce and client population.
