CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

REPORTS TO: Student Events Supervisor

JOB GOAL: The Student Events Coordinator plans, organizes, and oversees frequent school sponsored activities and events for K-12 students and families.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Two or more years of related work experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Child Abuse Clearance; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan, organize, and oversee frequent school sponsored activities and events for K-12 students and families
- Plan, organize, and implement community outreach efforts
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with students and families
- Create and maintain regional parent/guardian groups enabling them to coordinate and conduct activities and events within their regions
- Track attendance and complete post event reports
- Collect and track monetary transactions for events and complete financial reports as necessary
- As appropriate, collaborate with regional representatives and other applicable PA Cyber staff when planning activities and events
- Responsible to maintain health and safety standards at school sponsored activities and events.
- Travel frequently
- Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by Supervisor

Pay: $42,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
