Clinical Coordinator, Graduate Nursing

Wilkes University invites applicants for a Graduate Program Clinical Coordinator in the Passan School of Nursing. The PSON provides comprehensive programming which has expanded professional opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
The successful candidate will report to the Chair of graduate nursing. The successful candidate is responsible for collaborating with the University partner and graduate nursing faculty to approve preceptors for nurse practitioner students using established criteria; collaborating with faculty, students, mentors, and healthcare agencies ensuring the application of clinical clearance procedures for graduate students; collaborating with the University partner and staff to ensure clinical contracts for all agencies and research sites are complete; and developing and managing databases for all pertinent operations of the position, as appropriate.
This full-time position requires a baccalaureate degree in nursing. A master's degree in nursing is preferred. An unencumbered PA RN licensure is required along with a minimum of 5 years, full time nursing experience. Strong computer skills are required for database management and Microsoft office. Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills required in addition to the ability to function well with a diverse community and provide quality coaching and mentoring support. Experience in higher learning with clinical placement activities preferred along with evidence of nursing leadership success with self-directed, project outcomes.
