Assistant Property Manager/leasing Consultant

We are a property management company based out of Springfield, MA. We specialize in managing multi-family and single family residential rentals. We are looking for someone to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Agent. The assistant property manager will be working directly with the property manager on the following:

- create work orders for property maintenance requests
- tenant coordination for maintenance requests and rent payments
- screen prospective tenants and assist in the move in process
- answer calls from tenants, vendors, and owners
- other ad hoc tasks as needed

**Required Skills**:

- at least one year work experience in property management using AppFolio
- organization and time management skills

**Essential Duties**:

- Assist with daily operations of the property, including leasing properties, maintaining records, and customer relations.
- Maintain a high level of service to clients and residents.
- Participate in the development of strategies that will maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Work with the Property Manager to develop and implement operational strategies that will increase occupancy and retention.
- Perform all duties in accordance with all policies and procedures.
- Follow all lease contract terms and conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills, including positive attitude, strong work ethic, and initiative.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creating and implementing workflows to automate tasks.
- Proficient in property management software (APPFOLIO) is a plus.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
