- Manager, provides oversight and manages the branches overall performance related to operational integrity, customer service excellence and sales integrity
- Maintain credibility within the Bank and with business managers, retail, and commercial loan teams. Builds strong relationships with these teams through routine contact and review of expected business results.
- Promote bank products to new and existing customers.
- Engage in sales and service coaching sessions with sales staff.
- Responsible for daily branch operations to include overdraft management, vault management, branch schedules, the opening and closing of the office, and other such duties.
- Develop a portfolio of customers, prospects, and Centers of Influence (COIs) through networking and other business development efforts including visiting local businesses on a regular basis.
- Immerses in the community by leading and supporting the Bank’s community related initiatives and events in order to build brand awareness.
- Approves financial transactions using sound judgment to minimize risk and potential losses from fraud and other decision that will impact the banks financial results.
- Able to quickly learn and adhere to all policies and procedure related to branch operations to include, but not be limited to, check cashing, deposit taking, settlement, account opening, debit card issuance, branch opening and closing, audit requirements, compliance requirements, vault and ATM management, and other such functions.
- Ensures that all security and audit procedures are followed to minimize potential risk.
- Adherence to all operational, regulatory and security requirements, directives and procedures while minimizing losses.
- Assists in managing cash limits in accordance with banking standards.
- Participates in investigating, locating, resolving and controlling differences to manage the budget within acceptable standards.
- Creates and implements a plan to manage and minimize bank procedural violations.
- Answering telephone calls in a professional manner.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of Wakefield Co-operative Bank’s digital / online banking offerings and are able to use, describe and support these services.
- Where applicable (for example when performing platform duties), stand up, meet and greet incoming customers and prospects, shake their hands and escort them as necessary throughout their visit.
- Consistently meets or exceeds various goals as may be required or set by management.
- Inform, offer and where applicable, demonstrates alternative service delivery options for customers to include online banking, bill pay, debit cards, mobile banking, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Strong supervisory or leadership experience
- Proven ability to meet and exceed Customers' expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer / digital / mobile device proficiency
- Demonstrates management ability
- Demonstrates ability to manage competing priorities, strategically aligning efforts and activities to meet branch goals and objectives
- Demonstrates knowledge of Bank product lines and services as well as an understanding of branch operations and security

**Proficiency with**:

- Windows desktop software
- MS Office
- Various web browsers as may be required
- Mobile smart phones and other mobile devices (running iOS, Android and other)
- Internet usage (mobile and desktop)
- Adherence to corporate dress code
- Regular attendance and punctuality is essential to this position
- Must be knowledgeable and keep current on all bank regulatory and compliance policies as they relate to the job description
- Notary License (preferred)
