We are looking for a leader who can handle a fast-paced and high-volume environment, is organized, is an effective communicator, and can juggle several tasks. Our Legal Support Supervisor leads a group of legal secretaries and other clerical staff and provides case management support services to our attorneys.

Job Contributions- Supervise a staff of legal secretaries and other legal support staff, including hiring, monitoring, documenting, and evaluating performance, coaching, training, assessing skill level, workload, and ensuring adequate staff coverage through responsible scheduling- Provide case management functions for attorney supervisor- Collaborate with other staff and attorney supervisors to resolve process issues and develop effective procedures for managing case flow and adjusting priorities in accordance with departmental goals.- Lead group meetings, actively participate in group meetings with peers, prepare group updates, and provide verbal report on progress and initiatives in group meeting settings- Provides a range of administrative and legal support for attorneys, attorney supervisors, or attorney managers by processing a variety of documents, forms, and /or other materials.- Maintain records, manuals, documents, calendars, and schedules of activities, meetings, and various events- Prepare a variety of administrative reports- Develop and participate in various special projects as needed and as assigned by department management
Working Conditions-
- May be required to lift 10-15 pounds floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead- May be required to carry or push/pull 25-35 pounds a distance of 100 feet
Selection ProcedureMust pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
