Transportation Safety Manager

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain safety files and records
- Participate in new driver orientation and on-boarding processes Communicate with drivers regarding core safety principles and accident avoidance
- Monitors all compliance items including physicals, licenses, random drug screens, annual reviews, hours of service regulations to ensure adherence at every operation
- Assists management on projects as needed
- Monitor compliance with Hours-of-Service regulations, ELD usage, pre/post trip inspections and FMCSA
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and handle DOT complaints under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Manage and oversee auditing of driver logs
- Develop, implement, and supervise the company driver safety program
- Handling Accidents and Insurance Claims. Conduct post-accident and post-injury investigations; root cause analysis; and ensure proper completion of required documentation and reporting to the proper agencies
- Ability to obtain NAMTI Certification
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
