- Responsibilities:

- Greet clients warmly and provide them with a positive first impression of our clinic
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and respond to client inquiries promptly and courteously
- Input data to practice management software. Become familiar with retail products, medications, vaccinations, routine testing, and heartworm and flea preventatives, ability to confidently discuss with clients.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the clinic
- Handle patient admissions, discharges, and medical records with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide compassionate care and comfort to patients and their owners
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred, but not required
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; a positive attitude is a must
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Comfortable handling animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Basic knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient computer skills and experience with veterinary software systems (specifically impromed) is advantageous
- Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pay: This is an hourly position ranging from $16/hour to $20/hour depending on skill/experience
