**Job Summary**

Powerstone Property Management, a leading and rapidly growing community association management company in Southern California, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller for their Corporate office in Irvine, CA.

Qualifications & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Prepare monthly financials for more complex associations based on monthly schedule and due dates, including bank reconciliations
- Review general ledger for proper coding and make any needed entries and corrections
- Review client bank account balances for FDIC coverage and recommend fund investments to clients
- Assist in review of financial statements, budgets and other financial reports, to assess accuracy and completeness
- Assist internal and external customers with any inquiry or request regarding financial questions
- Assist in scheduling association audits and assist in the review of audits and the tax returns
- Assist with new client set-ups
- Ability to work flexible hours, including work nights and weekends depending on workload
- Ethical conduct and excellent financial management skills
- Must be organized, very detail oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize in fast
- paced environment
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow consistently
- Ability to work under stress, with interruptions, and meet all deadlines

**Qualifications and Skills**

Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or equivalent in Accounting and a CPA a plus, but not required. Between five and ten years of related experience.
