**Responsibilities**:

- Perform ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Obtain and record patient medical history and relevant information
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality

**Requirements**:

- Certification or registration as a Sonographer
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience in performing various types of ultrasound scans, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, obstetric, and musculoskeletal
- Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, X-Ray, PET scan, or mammography is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
