**Job Summary**:
As a Credit Union Teller, you will handle financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency to build member trust. You'll engage with members both in-person and over the phone to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable products and services. Additionally, you will protect member accounts by identifying fraudulent activities, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, and providing exceptional service. Your role includes contributing to a positive team environment and performing other assigned duties.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Process routine transactions: deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, etc.
- Handle member inquiries and direct them as needed.
- Promote and explain Credit Union products and services.
- Travel to our 15th St. branch as necessary.
- Cross-sell credit union products and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and privacy policies.
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with members and colleagues.
- Keep the work area clean and secure.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:

- High school diploma or GED required (in-process completion acceptable).
- Previous cash handling or related experience - 1 year (preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish) **required**.
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with members and staff.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:
**SCHEDULE**:

- Day Shift (within the hours of M-F; 7:15am-6:15pm)
- Saturdays (required) - Hours: 9:00am-1:00pm.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
