**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years In related area and/or equivalent experience/training (required)
- Demonstrated ability to determine and recommend short and long range strategic goals. (required)
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial aid regulations. Demonstrated working knowledge of Federal Methodology. Skilled at reading and interpreting complex federal, state and University regulations and policies pertaining to financial aid. (required)
- Detailed understanding of the Financial Aid Management (FAM) system, Student Records System (SRS), Report Distribution System (RDS), and the Billing and Receivable (BAR) system used for accessing data. (required)
- Skill in performing accurately with heavy workload requirements and the ability to use effective time management skills in order to prioritize tasks to accomplish goals within established time frames. Works effectively both in groups and independently. (required)
- Skill in effectively communicating orally and in written form using concise logical and grammatically correct statements. Skill in resolving complex problems. Capable of working effectively and accurately with frequent interruptions and/or distractions. (required)
- Experience developing a variety of training materials related to rules and regulations and presenting effective training workshops to staff. (required)
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, faculty and peers. (required)
- Demonstrated ability to supervise student staff. (required)
