ROI Hospitality is looking for a passionate, customer service-oriented Assistant General Manager for our newly renovated 121 room Cambria® Hotel Madison East. In this role, you will assist the General Manager by continually focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and development of associates.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation.
- Ensure implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
- Manage the front desk department including hiring, training, and scheduling staff.
- Ensure the front desk is run in a professional manner in accordance with management company and hotel policies.
- Assist the front desk staff during busy periods and staff shortages.
- Ensure the efficient operation of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager by supervising and supporting the Front Desk, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Sales, and Housekeeping Departments.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and inventory controls.
- Maximize revenue by monitoring ADR & occupancy compared to budget.
- Exhibit unmatched customer service skills and a positive attitude with team and customers.
- Review and process invoices.
- Manage guest complaints at the hotel though hotel review sites (Medallia)
- Performs all other duties as assigned by General Manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 2 years management experience at a full-service hotel, and/or two years restaurant food and beverage management experience.
- Strong administrative and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and consistently.
- Experience working with budgets, payroll, revenue management, and forecasting.
