Self-storage Sales Associate

Delta Storage currently has an opening for a Sales Associate at our Jersey City location. This is a brand-new state-of-the-art facility. All the items you need to be successful are at your disposal to achieve excellence.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional service to our customers and sales leads over the phone as well as to walk-in customers. our goal is 110% customer satisfaction.
- Sell and recommend appropriate unit sizes and services based on individual customers' needs.
- Utilize our software to lease units accurately, sell ancillary products, and maintain customer records.
- Conduct daily visual and space audits of the entire facility.
- Work with the Storage Center Manager to achieve the goals set by the management team.
- Report property maintenance concerns to Storage Center Manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Storage Center Manager.

**Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements**:

- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns and overcome objections.
- Strong work ethic and self-starter.
- Must possess and professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers in person and over the phone.
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Proficient in the basic operations of Microsoft Office
- A driver’s license is required

We provide competitive compensation, bonus programs, and benefits.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
