**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee team operations to guarantee adherence to regulations set by airlines, airports, ports, and other relevant authorities.
- Introduce process improvements, as necessary.
- Strategize, predict, coordinate, and convey production plans when required.
- Lead, inspire, and support a sizable team.
- Evaluate and refine policies to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Guarantee compliance with OSHA, Safe Program, and DOT standards/training.
- Formulate and execute departmental policies and procedures, along with associated training schedules.
- Track transportation expenses and generate management-requested reports.
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in transportation, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with operational sequences.
- Contract negotiation skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Effective and articulate communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Strong planning, coordination, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, adept at navigating a dynamic environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and diligent with a commitment to follow-through.
- Capability to interact with department heads and team members, demonstrating patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and diverse clientele, requiring a hands-on approach to guest needs.
- Timely completion of assigned tasks within strict deadlines.
- Flexibility with different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
**What We Offer**:
- Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 Annually
