**Essential Job Functions**:
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Other duties may be assigned
- Ensure the safe operation of the plant and a safe working environment
- Read and understand all SOP’s and meet all safety training requirements
- Able to utilize basic functions of Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Excel, Word and some PowerPoint
- Prioritize and direct work for self and subordinates
- Staff plant with required employees to support 4-shift, 24/7 production schedule.
- Coordinate teamwork between maintenance staff, operators, engineering and vendors to ensure the plant operates to its fullest potential
- Provide plant with vision and direction
- Prepare monthly reports
- Coordinate production schedule to support sales team objectives
- Represent Sumiden in local community
- Ability and willingness to be hands-on with each position in the plant to effectively manage and improve each position
**Educational/Vocational Preparation**:
- College courses: Not required, but strongly preferred
- High school diploma or GED: Required
- Performance on other jobs: At least 5 years industrial experience required
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
