Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of our technical equipment. You will be the face of our company to our customers, so a commitment to professionalism and excellent communication is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Travel to customer locations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Occasional overnight stays required.
- Install, test, and maintain a variety of equipment. This may include cabling systems, security cameras, access control systems, telephone systems, and computer systems.
- Install, test, and maintain low-voltage cabling systems (coax, Cat5/6, fiber optic)
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Mount, configure, and troubleshoot Security Camera Systems.
- Perform technical installations and repairs for various systems (may include access control, audio/visual, intercom)
- Diagnose and resolve customer reported issues with technical equipment.
- Provide clear explanations and solutions to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and professional workspace on customer sites.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service reports documenting all work performed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb up and down a ladder.
- Perform extended overhead cabling/wiring from ladders, lifts, and bucket truck.
- Ability to crawl into tight spaces for installation purposes of devices and equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a field technician role or related industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using laptops, tablets, and other relevant equipment.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
