Our client is in search of a proficient Field Service Technician to enhance their workforce. This role is pivotal in managing the execution of highways, bridges, utilities, and various infrastructure initiatives across diverse sectors, ensuring compliance with specifications and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Employ advanced calculation methodologies, including computer-aided techniques, to ascertain dimensions, square footage, and material requirements for projects.
- Create precise dimensional drawings and design layouts, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications.
- Evaluate site conditions and develop detailed maps, graphs, and diagrams to present findings.
- Examine project plans and specifications to determine structural dimensions and material needs.
- Compile thorough reports documenting project activities and relevant data.
- Work collaboratively with project supervisors to strategize project details, including acceptance testing and assessment of field conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of project sites, evaluating contractor work for compliance with design specifications and regulations.
- Plan and carry out field surveys to identify potential new sites and analyze project site specifics.
- Perform materials testing and analysis utilizing specialized tools and equipment, applying engineering expertise.
- Engage in physical labor activities as necessary, including bending, digging, and lifting heavy items.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and execute projects within defined budgets and timelines.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to client satisfaction.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Associate degree or higher education preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Nuclear Density, ACI Concrete, MDOT Density Tech are preferred.
- Base salary in the range of $28.00 – $31.00/hour.
