**The role** **you’ll contribute**:
Responsible for telephone communication for entire hospital, to handle in-house paging and beeper function to ensure proper communication throughout the hospital and to staff physicians. To handle incoming and outgoing calls courteously and promptly

**The value you’ll bring to the team**:

- Answers all calls in courteous & efficient manner
- Answers all lines efficiently, handing off calls as quickly as possible
- Coordinates telephone communication
- Maintains on-call lists
- Maintains privacy & confidentiality of patients and employees at all times
- Monitors security panels in PBX office
- Page physicians & hospital personnel clearly and precisely
- Follows all processes per departmental and/or organizational policies
- Participates in mentoring and training of new staff
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
**The** **expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed**:

- Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Clear and Precise Diction
- Minimum of two (2) years of direct switchboard/PBX experience
