**JOB PURPOSE**: Ensure the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and managing inventory within our warehouse.

**JOB DUTIES**:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and secure cost-effective agreements
- Maintain and update supplier databases, including contact information, pricing, and lead times
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications
- Monitor and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
- Resolve any supplier-related issues promptly to maintain smooth operations
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of materials and products
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory within the warehouse
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends
- Implement best practices for inventory control to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Prepare reports and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations.

**SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/ COMPETENCIES**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or warehouse management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software/tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

**WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL FACTORS**:

- Required to work in an environment that undergoes extreme temperature changes
- Required to work in an environment that has dirt and dust
- Required to work in an environment that can be noisy
- Lift up to 50lbs during the day
- Standing or walking through the entire day
- Bending and stooping
