Senior Operations Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead and manage the operations of our e-commerce fulfillment centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our warehouse functions with optimal efficiency, precision, and customer satisfaction, while overseeing workflow processes and guiding a team of employees to meet performance objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

Manage the daily operations of multiple fulfillment centers, ensuring peak productivity and effectiveness.

Formulate and execute operational guidelines and procedures to improve workflow.

Supervise and control inventory levels, guaranteeing accurate and prompt order fulfillment.

Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate supply chain activities and ensure timely product restocking.

Team Development:

Recruit, train, and oversee fulfillment center personnel, cultivating a positive and efficient work atmosphere.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.

Design and implement training initiatives to enhance staff performance and productivity.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and uphold quality control measures to ensure precise and timely order fulfillment.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to resolve any discrepancies.

Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Client Relations:

Work closely with the customer service team to swiftly address any order-related issues or discrepancies.

Ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered punctually to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.

Manage customer inquiries and complaints regarding order fulfillment in a professional and timely manner.

Technology & Innovation:

Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to optimize operations.

Identify and implement innovative strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to keep the fulfillment center competitive.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, fostering a safe working environment.

Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries.

Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or fulfillment center management, preferably in an e-commerce context.

Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a team.

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies.

Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
