Job Overview

The Warehouse Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory and logistics within our facility. This position requires a high level of organization, efficiency, and expertise in handling the processes involved in receiving, processing, and storing products.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols established by the company.
  • Prepare and label products for shipment based on purchase orders.
  • Organize and stage customer orders for timely dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean driving record as per company standards.
  • Receive, unload, and appropriately stock incoming inventory.
  • Keep inventory organized and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Ensure the warehouse space and equipment are well-maintained.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the warehouse on a daily basis.
  • Mix paint and perform shading tasks with precision to minimize errors.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Ability to mix paint and match colors accurately.
Training Requirements

Mandatory Training:

  • Completion of Right to Know Training.

Recommended Training:

  • Participation in the Product Training Program.
  • Engagement in the Product & Color Adjustment Course.
  • Completion of Hazardous Waste Training.
  • Attendance at various manufacturer training seminars and/or training schools, which may require overnight travel.
Physical Demands

Physical tasks will include standing and walking on hard surfaces for extended periods, lifting and carrying weights up to 55 pounds regularly, and performing actions such as reaching, twisting, bending, and climbing ladders while handling products. Candidates must also be able to distinguish color variations and comply with safety equipment requirements. Tolerance for non-toxic paint odors is necessary.

All candidates will be required to undergo a drug screening and meet the acceptable standards for Motor Vehicle Reports during the hiring process.
