**Requirements for the job**:

- You must be able to carry 30lbs of handheld clearing equipment up and down steep terrain.
- You must be able to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day, 5 days per week.
- Ability to work on moderate-to-steep slopes (footwear is provided)
- Reliable transportation to get to company garage in Oakland each morning by 7:30am.

**Seasonality**: New hires will begin field training by May 28 (and possibly earlier) and will continue through July, when seasonal demand slows.

**Compensation**: Employees are paid hourly, with regular opportunities for pay raises based on a production-per-hour and quality. Quick learning and hard-working associate specialists can make $1,000-1,500 per week their first season.

**Career Advancement**: By the 2nd season, skilled and responsible workers can be promoted to field specialists and significantly increase their earnings -- as well as work a longer season, if desired.
