Job Summary:
LRS Healthcare - Imaging is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team for a 13-week contract in California. As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and MRI scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide emotional support as needed
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in radiology imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
