**Job** **Summary**

**Responsibilities and Tasks**

1. Acts as an intermediary as needed that requires considerable discretion and initiative.

2. Makes decisions on specific operating problems within authorized scope.

4. Coordinates and maintains CCO schedule; anticipates CCO’ course of action. Schedules and coordinates meetings, and appointments. Compiles agenda and briefing material; briefs CCO on pertinent agenda issues and prepares minutes for meetings. Acts as point-person for follow-up on meetings, projects, and initiatives.

5. Manages special projects and assignments given. Conducts background research on emerging issues, tracks progress and deadlines to ensure work is completed in a timely manner and identifies areas which require CCO’ immediate attention.

6. Coordinates and implements special events: Invitations, audio-visual, and/or refreshments.

7. Conducts other administrative tasks as required.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

1. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve a wide variety of complex issues.
2. PC literate with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet. Excellent typing and data entry skills are required.
3. Highly effective verbal, written and people skills to communicate effectively with medical staff, colleagues, patients and/or visitors.

4. Knowledge of and ability to understand procedures, practices and policies and communicate administrative decisions to staff.
5. Excellent filing and organization, ability to prioritize own work and that of others.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet related deadlines.
7. Ability to establish and maintain courteous and effective relationships and demonstrate sensitivity and awareness.

**Qualifications**

Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Bachelor’s or associate degree in business management/administration, Secretarial Sciences or related field is strongly preferred.
2. 1-2 years’ experience working in a business, or health care environment is required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
