Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Create and optimize Excel formulas and functions to manipulate and analyze large datasets efficiently.
- Develop macros to automate repetitive tasks, enhance data processing and improve workflow efficiency.
- Implement data validation to maintain data accuracy.
- Integrate external data sources seamlessly into Excel, for analysis and reporting.
- Input employee/client data into the agency’s computer system to establish and update customer data, validate data and make corrections.
- Facilitate the accurate and timely determination of initial eligibility and follow up with clients who do not submit all required data.
- Keep client files up to date with current information
- Initiate and execute internal workflows when employees are hired, change assignments, or vacate a position.
- Build client within HILB’s benadmin, including plan setup and all employee demographics.
- Maintain enrollment records and reconciles monthly invoices for all benefit plans.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.

**Qualifications**:

- Education - High school diploma required; some college level coursework preferred.
- Certification - Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License
- Experience - One to three years of experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional relationship development skills, interpersonal and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Agency Management System experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in HRIS or Benadmin system, HILB uses Employee Navigator
- Working knowledge and understanding of group benefits/administration
- Other - Travel and overtime may be required to fulfill the requirements of this position.
