- **Data Entry**: Accurately enter invoice details into the Yardi system, ensuring all information is correct and up to date.
- **Vendor Management**: Keep relationships with vendors, handle inquiries, and resolve any discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
- **Payment Processing**: Prepare and execute electronic transfers and payments, including ACH and wire transfers.
- **Reconciliation**: Reconcile accounts payable transactions, check accounts to ensure payments are up to date, and research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- **Reporting**: Generate and review reports on accounts payable status, including aging reports and other financial statements.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- **Documentation**: Keep thorough and correct records of all accounts payable transactions.
- **Month-End Closing**: Assist in month-end closing processes, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and support overall business aims.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- **Yardi Proficiency**: Experience with Yardi software is needed.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- **Skills**: Strong diligence, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- **Communication**: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- **Problem-solving**: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- **Technology**: Ability in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
