**Position Summary**

The Impact Manager works closely with the Chief, Program + Impact and team leaders to oversee all aspects of launching and supporting NewRoot’s service partnerships with a rotating portfolio of schools and organizations, particularly those receiving regular on-site support. The Impact Manager works directly with partners, as well as leads and supports a group of Impact Coaches doing similar work: planning and facilitating programming; co-designing restorative systems, curriculum adoption; and ensuring accurate and thorough data collection. Additionally, the Impact Manager serves as an internal leader, creating and maintaining the team culture, systems, and tools that equip NewRoot’s Program + Impact Team. Further, the Impact Manager is a key connector who collaborates across NewRoot’s teams and with external stakeholders to support effective service delivery and partnership development.

**Location**

The Impact Manager will serve Impact Coaches and partners primarily located in and around Chicago. Up to four days per week will be spent at assigned partner sites, typically middle and high schools, during regular school hours. Regular travel to partner sites throughout Chicagoland will be required during assigned partnership engagements. Additional regional and/or national travel may be required occasionally. As an organization, we are committed to a long-term flexible, hybrid work model. NewRoot’s West Loop office is where we gather in person for collaboration and culture-building and as needed for deep focus work. This role can be done 20% remotely.

**Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Partner Services_
- From onboarding to offboarding, lead and implement NewRoot’s restorative justice and SEL programming and initiatives with assigned partner schools and organizations
- Schedule and facilitate regular services in response to partners’ established needs
- Plan and facilitate professional development sessions with administrators, teachers, security officers, and other adult stakeholders to provide foundational knowledge of SEL skills and restorative practices
- Coach administrators, teachers, security officers and other adult stakeholders to develop contextually relevant SEL skills and restorative practices
- Advise and support school and organization administrators with building systems that uphold SEL skills and restorative practices, including accountability through data analysis
- Partner with adult stakeholders to support relationships and processes with students involved in restorative justice interventions, including assistance with intake and ongoing case management
- Meet organizational documentation and reporting requirements for services, activities, evaluation, and program expenses
- Respond to urgent partner requests that require heightened attention or sensitivity with discretion, timeliness, and care as needed
- Review and provide feedback about NewRoot’s content and curriculum materials

- Lead and support 1-5 Impact Coaches who provide direct support in-person at Grow partner sites
