**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintains a Daily Teacher Attendance Log, keeps record of employees’ time and related records for substitute teachers and collaboration with Assistant Principal or Principal.
- Maintains PowerSchool technology with updated pupil information.
- Maintains updated records on the School staff.
- Performs word processing, typing and proofing of letters, documents and memoranda of more than average difficultly from clear copy, rough draft, recording machines or data personally developed.
- Prepares School’s Payroll, Supplemental pays and submits them to the Payroll Department at the Central Office in a timely matter.
- Prepares MUNIS requisitions and maintains purchase orders.
- Welcomes visitors, responds to their inquiry and/or directs them to the appropriate person.
- Operates fax and copying machines to duplicate various forms, bulletins and notices.
- Organizes and maintains office files.
- Answers the telephone, takes messages, and forwards them to the appropriate personnel.
- Provides support to the Principal, Assistant Principal and other main office staff.
- Performs any other tasks as directed by the Principal and Assistant Principals.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Civil Service Eligibility
- High School graduate
- Bilingual in English and Spanish _strongly _preferred_
- Ability to type, word process and proofread letters and documents or more than average difficulty.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform duties and responsibilities with mínimal supervision.
- Willingness to work on the schedule that coincides with the hours of the School.
- Must be a resident of Springfield.
