The **Director, Global Cell Therapy (CT), Strategy & Operations (Cell Therapy Leadership Team Secretariat and Strategic Engagement) **will act as a key and trusted thought partner to the Vice President and Executive Director CT Strategy & Operations team, and accountability to the President, Cell Therapy Organization (CTO) for effective running of the CTLT. The role will report to the Executive Director, CT Head of Strategy and Operations.
The individual will play a fundamental role in enabling the CTLT's ability to operate as a high performing team and maintain oversight and accountability for managing CTLT meetings and CTO governance to achieve all business objectives. In partnership with the CT executive communications team and HR, the Director will develop the internal CT Organization colleague engagement strategy and tactical plan to foster a culture of innovation and agility. In addition, the Director will be involved in ad-hoc strategic or key cross-functional operational initiatives aligned with the implementation of the CTO strategic priorities roadmap.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Accountable for the optimal management of CTO governance:
- Manage CTLT meetings, CTO performance forum and other ad-hoc CT leadership meetings
- Drive the annual CTO priorities process to establish clear cross-functional prioritized plan with accompanying performance metrics and milestones
- Run quarterly CTO performance review sessions to identify opportunities to enhance performance with resulting corrective action plan
- Accountable for designing, developing and executing the CTO internal employee engagement plan (e.g., CTO Town Halls, CT office-hours) in collaboration with CT executive communications and HR
- Identify areas of synergy, best practice, and opportunity for improvement across CTO and CT S&O and implement solutions accordingly
- Support when required the VP CT S&O and ED CT S&O in ad-hoc strategic and key operational cross-functional initiatives
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- BA/BS required. MBA, PharmD, or other graduate degree strongly preferred
- 8-10+ years combined commercial experience across related disciplines, Global and/or local Marketing, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or strategic management consulting experiences
- Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry; possesses a global understanding of end-to-end drug development, manufacturing, and commercialization processes; relevant experience in Cell Therapy is preferable
- Experience working cross-functionally at senior management level and ability to direct/guide complex business and enterprise-wide decision-making at leadership team and above
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and design, manage or implement multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong diagnostic and strategic thinking skills and demonstrated ability to contribute to shaping strategy and translating to execution
- Results driven, with excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills
- Proficient in executive communication style; concise and impactful oral & written communication skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional, matrixed teams, maintaining strong relationships and influencing outcomes
