**YOUR FUTURE TEAM**

As part of TCEQ Administrative Services, you would help support the logístical and operational structure for TCEQ statewide - the business foundation for the whole agency. See details about what we do.

This position is a member of our Staff Services Division.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

As a part of the division’s Staff Services team, our Property Manager II will play a key role in achieving TCEQ’s mission. You would use your skills and experience to:

- Consult with regional office staff on requirements for new or additional office space; write detailed technical specifications based upon requirements.
- Coordinate with Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) and their contractors to develop room schedules and space plans, select suitable space, finalize leases, and ensure space is built-out in accordance with specifications and in compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and safety rules and regulations.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects. Maintain records of property agreements and manages each lease contract.
- Work with TFC to develop and update guidelines, policies, procedures, and service level agreements/contracts concerning working relationships between TFC and TCEQ.

**TELEWORK**

This position requires full-time in office attendance.

**Qualifications**

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with major course work in business administration or a related field, plus two years of full-time experience performing property management work which included the purchase of building supplies, equipment, or furniture.
- One year of full-time experience outlined above will substitute for each year of the required education.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Work experience reviewing and coordinating commercial lease agreements/contracts and inspecting building facilities to ensure compliance with Federal ADA rules, local & state building codes, and/or NFPA fire protection standards.
- Experience managing or overseeing facility maintenance programs and facility maintenance or construction projects.
- Experience working with State of Texas purchasing policies and procedures or contracts.
- Experience providing customer service for facility maintenance/management.
