**YOUR FUTURE TEAM**

As part of TCEQ Compliance and Enforcement, you would help ensure that those we regulate comply with the state’s environmental laws.

This position is a member of our Program Support and Environmental Assistance Division.

**KEY QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience managing projects involving various areas or multiple customers
- Experience in coordinating projects related to the development and implementation of regulatory processes, data collection, and/or improving management and/or technical techniques
- Experience providing outreach to the general public, regulated community, media, and/or other government entities concerning policy and/or technical issues
- Experience responding to requests from public officials, the regulated community, and/or the interested public

**HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING...**
- Assist with the implementation and oversight of OSSF activities. Conduct projects which may include research projects, legislative coordination and/or analysis. Serve as a division representative on committees, workgroups, and teams related to OSSF Program activities.
- Serve as a contact for the review and approval process regarding the designation of governmental entities authorized to regulate OSSF and assist entities with reviews and updates to their designation of Authorized Agents.
- Assist with and conduct responses to requests for OSSF technical or administrative assistance or data requests, provide public outreach, and provide expertise for the OSSF program for staff and interested parties.
- Help the development of informational material, implementation of regulatory processes, and preparing guidance documents. Assist with presentations to agency staff, regulated entities, or the public.
- Assist with the implementation and oversight the Onsite Activity Reporting System (OARS) database; perform quarterly billing and oversight reports, and respond to data requests

**Qualifications**

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS**

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in a natural or physical science, engineering, environmental studies, or related field.

One year of full-time experience in the field of environmental activities may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of the required education.
