Broker Relationship Manager

**Position Summary**:
The Broker Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with brokerage firms and agents to drive business growth. Your role will focus on identifying and pursuing new opportunities, providing exceptional customer service, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our broker partners. Your expertise in commercial equipment finance, attention to detail, and strong communication skills will be essential to effectively manage and grow our broker relationships.
**Key Roles / Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with brokerage firms and agents in the commercial equipment finance industry.
- Act as the main point of contact for brokers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively engaging with brokers to understand their needs and promoting our equipment finance products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as credit, operations, and collections, to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services to brokers and their clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations to effectively guide brokers in navigating the equipment finance market.
- Provide ongoing support and training to brokers to enhance their knowledge and utilization of our equipment finance products and services.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations with brokers to discuss performance, market updates, and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and analyze reports on broker performance, business pipeline, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns to support broker acquisition and retention efforts.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build and strengthen relationships with brokers and stay informed about market developments.
- Support the underwriting team by providing insight and feedback on brokers and their clients.
***Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the commercial equipment finance industry.
- Strong knowledge of equipment finance operations and products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong negotiating and sales abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to drive business growth.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
**Working Conditions**:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
- Moves throughout the building to access files.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
- Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
