**Director of Human Resources and Operations
- Medical Group**

The responsibilities include oversight of operations, human resources facilities management, and various programs in conjunction with the Executive Director. This role assists in planning and executing initiatives to solve problems with goals of improving efficiency, accuracy, effectiveness and increasing collections.

This role reports to the Executive Director; and depending on the project, the work may be individual or part of a team.

**Operations**
- Examines internal operations and identifies gaps. Provides best practices for workflow, efficiency, cost containment and attainment of goals.
- Performs visits at each sub-practice location. Assists with goal setting and achievement per office.
- Assists with writing and implementation of the Operations Manual and updates.
- Collaborates in writing additional policies and procedures as needed.
- HIPAA/OSHA monitoring of each location.
- Contributes to maintaining consistent standards and adherence to compliance.
- Coordinates with Executive Director on evaluating staff and processes and resolving issues as they arise to improve staff performance.
- Oversees various Medical Billing tasks. Collaborates with others for goal achievement.
- Credentialing of Providers.
- Contracting with various insurance companies.
- Reviews Vendor Contracts as needed.

**Human Resources**
- On-boards new staff and management.
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant
- Develop training materials as needed
- Help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Partner with Management in all aspects of Human Resources
- Conduct or assist Office Managers in conducting performance reviews

**Qualifications/**Skills/Experience**
- Proven relevant experience with demonstrated results.
- Human Capital Management
- Healthcare operations experience preferably in a nephrology specialty.
- Practice Management experience
- Performance Management expertise
- Experience partnering with leadership.
- Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with team members and effectively prioritize time and resources.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal; Interpersonal skills including ability to listen effectively and communicate information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a complex work culture and develop successful professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel to various work sites in Maryland/DC/Virginia.
- Excellent computer skills:

- Microsoft Office
- EMR - Prior Epic experience preferred
- Prior work experience with insurance portals
- Ability to develop and support teams and team building skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
