Description:

Responsibilities includes:

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional license and other external trainings record.

Answers frequently asked questions from applicants, employees and supervisors relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.

Supports recruitment and interview set-up for department managers; may include collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verification.

Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

Provides clerical support to the HR department.

Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.

Attends or assists with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization- wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

Lead office administrative activities and provide administrative support to ensure office operations.

Assists with invoice processing, building management communication, safety training coordination, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned.
