**Automotive Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities**:
The **Automotive Payroll Coordinator **compiles accurate payroll data to maintain payroll records.
- Compiles payroll data such as hours worked, salaried, commission and any deductions to be withheld from time sheets and other records in order to compensate employees accurately
- Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
- Records changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, benefit coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records
- Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments and dealerships
- Responsible for preparing periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
- Prepares and issues paychecks
- Maintains accurate employee payroll files
- Maintains accurate I9 binder for active employees
- Responsible for hiring/terminating employees immediately in the system. Payroll department prompts benefit and cobra correspondences
- Creates weekly management reporting
- Performs filing and upkeep of employee payroll records.
- Generates computer report of payroll activities for the management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Payroll Manager

**Payroll Coordinator Qualifications**
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now Payroll System preferred
- Individuals employed in this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management
- Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate organizational and time management skills
- Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
- Individual employed in this position must possess a positive attitude and commitment to adhere to and administer company policies, procedures and standards
