Summary of the Role

The main responsibility is to ensure the efficient and upkeeping operation of the APAC security information systems, including Access Control (Lenel), CCTV (Genetec), Two ways radio communication system (Motorola), 6Video wall system (VEGA), Video Tele-Conference (VTC), Wireless Presentation system (Solstice), Audio/Video transmission system (Extron), Audio microphone and speaker amplifier system (Bose), Lighting Control System (Lite-puter), Satellite phone (Inmarsat), UPS system (Alpha) and IP telephony (Cisco).

This includes:
Troubleshooting and dealing with any problems arising with the Security Systems hardware or software, escalating such issues to the approved contracted companies if required.

Ensuring that routine maintenance is carried out on the security systems throughout the region, using the approved contracted companies.

Ensuring that documentation of systems information (e.g. Server details, vendor details, etc.) are kept up to date.

Responding to issues identified by the APAC Contracted Security Staff and client staff in other locations including Nuisance Alarms, reported camera faults, etc., for the APAC region.

Managing projects such as new country site set up and integration of existing offices systems.

Main Responsibilities

Relationship Management

oWork closely with the Contract Security Manager to help project manage client requirements.

oLiaise with and meet with the client and key contracts on a regular basis to review performance and ensure that quality standards are maintained in accordance with Service Level Agreements & KPI’s.
- Liaise with organization IT and Network departments as required to maintain meaningful working relationships.

Security Management
- Maintain and enhance the standard of the Security Team in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Liaise with all appropriate stakeholders such as internal and external departments / contractors.
- Ensure systems procedures are managed, audited & scrutinized and innovations are introduced.

oEnsure service levels are measurable and maintained.

oTo arrange with approved contracted companies for any non-routine maintenance to be conducted as required, following the procedures laid down by the client.

oMaintains reports regarding system downtime, plans for preventative maintenance, and disaster recovery.

oMonitors the performance of servers and ensures that they are running smoothly; this includes checking system logs, monitoring resource usage, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Improves and maintains monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions.
- Maintains inventory and asset configuration documentation.

Operations Management

oEnsure, in cooperation with the approved contracted companies, that sufficient spares are on hand throughout the region, to allow for continued operation of systems should an equipment failure occur.
- Act as a key contact for all escalated systems Security related matters across the contract.
- Report and liaise on a daily basis with direct reports to ensure effective communication of all systems matters to ensure the delivery of a high standard professional security service.
- Ensure compliance with KPI requirements, minimizing associated risks to the company and to the customer.
- Ensure all staff are trained to carry out their systems duties in accordance with procedures and policies.
- Work in partnership to raise the profile of security and fire prevention by attending meetings with service partners.
- Investigate incidents and prepare responses in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Project management such as new country site set up and integration of existing offices systems.
- Understand drivers behind systems failures and to take steps to minimize losses.

Management Correspondence
- Daily management of contacting companies and internal stakeholders involved with systems.

oHave a full understanding of the functions covered at all sites including areas such as Security, CCTV, Reception and systems Support.
- Support Company vision, culture and core values through leadership.

Organizational Change
- Suggest the update of systems processes to the Contract Manager to reflect current and future business needs.
- Introduce innovation in processes, systems and services to ensure that ORGANIZATION maintains a competitive advantage.
- Respond to changes in the external environment including legislation, technology and trends.

Other Duties
- Be aware of policy and procedures owned and changed from time to time by ORGANIZATION.

- To ensure that your PLRD/CCTV License is on display at all times while at work.
- Any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management (APAC Contract Manager, ASCC Manager, Security Systems Senior Manager APAC).
