- Provide and determine the most efficient use of system

- Determine and document functional scope and requirements

- Train users in process and system procedures or system capabilities
- Follow software development lifecycle procedures and processes
- Conduct meetings and provide updates pertaining to system and/or customer requests, such as development projects, training, questions and overall service

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**

**Availability**: Incumbents may occasionally work overtime, including evening and weekend hours.
**Background**: Applicants must successfully pass a background check prior to appointment.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Option 1**:
Experience must include:

- Knowledge of PS Query and/or SQL
- Proficient knowledge in at least one HCM module area: Payroll, Human Resources, Benefit Administration, and/or Time & Labor

**_ Substitution:_**_ _Experience with HCM Payroll Systems may substitute up to one (1) year of the required ERP Systems experience._

**-AND-**

**Education**:A Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, accounting, human resources, computer sciences, information technology, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or closely related field of study.
**Option 2**:
**Experience**: One (1) year of experience as a Systems Procedures Analyst Trainee with San Bernardino County.
- Note: Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.

Degrees or coursework completed outside of the U.S. _must_** **be accompanied by an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service indicating equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.

- Experience on PeopleSoft version 9.0 or higher
- Experience with STAT version control software for use of documenting and assigning work
- Analysis and business requirement collection

- Functionality connections and integration touch points within and between PeopleSoft HCM systems modules, including payroll and time and labor modules
- Business process map flow preparation and use
- Pay rules, leave accruals, and accounting chart fields
- Data collection and classification procedures
- Reference and on-line help materials
- Earn and deduction codes, unions, salary, time and labor rules, job data
- Systems analysis methods
- Federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to Payroll and HR
- Compensation Ordinance, Civil Service Rules, ERP system Business Rules, various bargaining unit MOU's and applicable payroll rules
- Broad understanding of the interdependencies of modules
- Current technology and trends in the profession
