As a **Manager Compensation Region 4** for **John Deere World Headquarters** located in **Moline, IL **or **remote**, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Lead the tactical management and/or implementation of compensation processes for Region 4. Administer annual compensation market assessment for salaried positions, develops and updates salary structure and annual merit increase budget in compliance with corporate policy and applicable laws. Manages vendor relationships.
- Lead the delivery, administration, governance, and communication of enterprise-wide compensation programs including annual pay/merit reviews and variable pay in alignment with enterprise Total Reward Strategy (TRS) philosophy.
- Monitor internal and external environment for emerging changes in compensation regulations, laws, and trends which may impact the company's plan offerings and design. This includes coordination with other internal HR processes to monitor trends.

**What Skills You Need**:

- 5 or more years of human resource or accounting experience/knowledge such as compensation, benefits, staffing, employee relations, financial analysis & counsel, etc.
- 5 or more years of understanding of applicable laws and corporate human resource policies and practices
- 5 or more years of understanding of integrated HR processes
- 5 or more years of demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive situations and make difficult decisions

**What Makes You Stand Out**:

- Experience designing, implementing, integrating, and managing global programs
- Advanced knowledge of analytical tools and regression analysis
- Experience working with global teams and/or projects
- Experience in conflict resolution and consultation with varying levels of management
- Experience in compensation and/or benefits

**Education**:
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

- Degree in Accounting/Finance or other relevant degree
